I graduated from Bart's in 1987, and worked in general medicine in London for several years before moving to general practice in Brighton in 1994 as a registrar, joining Beaconsfield Medical Centre as a partner in 1995. The practice has a mixed urban population, and utilises a personal list system as far as possible. There are nurse-led chronic disease clinics along with well woman clinics (including IUCD fitting) run by Drs Fiona Perry and Vanessa Lynch. I have responsibility for minor surgery, including joint and soft tissue injections. Also, I trained in the medical applications of hypnosis, and use this for the treatment of selected NHS patients registered at the surgery. When not at work, I enjoy spending time with my family, cooking and eating good food, playing the piano, skiing and playing football. I am happy to be contacted by any potential registrar by phone or e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org.
