Dr Andy Starling trained at Guy’s Hospital London before joining Meridian Surgery in 1991. His special interests are dermatology and ENT and he also does a number of small minor operations including a range of joint injections. He advises anyone thinking of joining the Meridian Surgery, "The registrar year is a year to be enjoyed, so expect some serious fun!". The training is learner-led but there will be plenty of guidance and steering over the various hurdles of nMRCGP. We like to have a few trainees at a time which leads to a dynamic learning experience for us all. Andy is also one of the GP Training Directors and a video examiner for the now obsolete summative assessment. In his spare time Andy enjoys singing and playing music, long distance running and is a committed church member.
