Dr Jens Petzold graduated from Luebeck University, Germany 1994. He went into General Medical Training in Germany before joining the Brighton VTS scheme for General Practioners in 1996. Dr Petzold has worked as a full-time principal at The Charter Medical Centre since 2000. His special interests are minor operations. His practice covers a few refugee subgroups as well as some Middle Eastern Communities. Additionally the practice provides specific clinics to cover Asthma, COPD, CHD, Diabetes and there are reviews for patients with other chronic illnesses. The practice is staffed by a young group of principals and has been paperless for ten years. Dr Petzold enjoys playing the flute and piano and is a member of the Brighton Festival Chorus. He is a keen cyclist and likes doing house visits on his bicycle.
