Dr Dan Jenkinson graduated from Leeds University and went into General Medicine undertaking interests in diabetes and cardiology; from there he joined general practice in 1998. He advises anyone considering joining the scheme to decide early on whether they eventually want to end up in an inner-city, suburban or country type practice. His practice covers a few refugee sub-groups as well as some middle-eastern communities. Additionally the practice provides specific clinics to cover asthma, COPD and diabetes and boasts a practice nurse specialist. The practice is staffed by a young group of principals and has been paperless for eight years! Dr Jenkinson enjoys music recording and production, badminton and cycling when at leisure.
