Peacehaven is where the Sussex Downs meets the English Channel. The resulting cliffs are high, white and dramatic while the surrounding countryside is rolling and readily accessible. We were the fastest growing new town in the late '80s; community identity is finally emerging. Situated five miles east of Brighton the commuter flow is right for those who wish to live in Brighton but work away from the inner city. We have two trainers, and a building project to ensure that we are all comfortably accommodated in the near future, so this is an exciting time tocome and learn the art and skills of General Practice. The urban setting of Peacehaven seems to have more than its fair share of morbidity and we are busy enough to ensure that there are lots to see and do. There is a big emphasis on family and flexible working arrangements so that the doctors can also be husbands, wives and parents(!). The team is, of course, friendly and committed to providing an excellent learning environment, so do take the trouble to come and meet us!
